If that doesn't solve the problem, you may need to take it to a mechanic for a more thorough inspection. If you're looking to adjust the sunroof, you might need to access the torx screws that control its alignment. To do this, place the sunroof in the 'vent' position, then gently pull back the pleated rubber skirt at the rear edge. This should expose the screws that allow for adjustments. Once you have access, you can loosen the front and middle screws on both sides to adjust the glass panel's position. It’s often easier to adjust the front first, then the rear, so make sure to have someone help you hold the panel in place while you tighten the screws. If you notice that the sunroof stops at a certain point when you turn the motor, it could also indicate worn-out cables. In that case, you might need to remove the headliner to gain access to those cables. Loosening the tensioning cables and pulling the headliner out of its mounts will help you get to the root of the issue. Lastly, when adjusting the screws, be careful not to overtighten them.
