To address the "out of paper" error on your HP Photosmart `7520` printer, start by cleaning the paper feed rollers. First, gather a clean, lint-free cloth and some distilled or bottled water—avoid using tap water, as it can damage the printer. Begin by turning off the printer and unplugging it from the wall outlet. If your printer is connected via USB, disconnect that cable as well. Next, remove the duplexer from the rear of the printer by pushing the right side to the left and pulling it out. Set it aside for now. Dampen the cloth lightly with the distilled water, ensuring you squeeze out any excess liquid. Press the cloth against the rollers and rotate them upward with your fingers, applying moderate pressure to remove any dust or dirt buildup. After cleaning, allow the rollers to dry completely.
